“Fujitsu is also going to show off RFID technology at NRF 2018.”
Fujitsu Frontech North America is planning to show off a range of cutting-edge technologies at the National Retail Federation 2018 expo, including its latest biometric solutions.
The latter include its PalmSecure F-Pro sensor, and the Stylistic V535 tablet. Announced last autumn, the F-Pro is the latest in Fujitsu’s PalmSecure line of palm vein sensors, and sports a compact design. The Stylistic V535, meanwhile, is one of the first devices to incorporate the F-Pro, with the sensor embedded in the chassis of the Windows tablet, allowing for biometric user authentication.
Fujitsu is also going to show off RFID technology at NRF 2018. Its WT-A533L solution is a 7mm-wide UHF RFID tag that is designed to withstand the standard laundry process applied to garments – washing, dry cleaning, and even ironing. Other solutions to be showcased by Fujitsu at NRF 2018 include cash-based and cashless self-checkout systems, cash safe boxes, and a new bill recycling unit.
NRF 2018 will run from January 14th to 16th in New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
