Security systems provider Viscount Systems announced today that it has been selected by the US Federal Government to supply facilities in Missouri, Nebraska and South Dakota with its Freedom access control solution.
Viscount president and CEO Stephen Pineau pins the continued progress of Freedom on the company’s successful pilot projects.
“The scope of these initial projects is dwarfed by the opportunities for nationwide agency deployments we expect entering the coming year,” said Pineau. “With the recent release of the new U.S. Government FICAM (Federal Identity, Credential and Access Management) requirements the advantages of Freedom over traditional panel based access control systems will only increase.”
Last week Viscount received a large order of its MESH intercom access control systems. The purchase, intended for physical access control in Canadian high-rise buildings, is also expected to drive Freedom revenue up.
