FPC is Sweden’s Fastest-Growing Tech Company: Deloitte

Fingerprint Cards is the fastest-growing tech company in Sweden, according to a newly-announced Deloitte ranking.

The 13th annual Sweden Technology Fast 50 report cited a growth rate of 28,126 percent on FPC’s part in awarding the company its top ranking. The average growth rate of the listed companies, by comparison, came in at 1408 percent. Growth rates are calculated based on revenues over the past four years.

The high ranking will come as little surprise to those who have been following FPC’s performance. In its recent Q3 report, FPC claimed a revenue increase of 93 percent against Q3 of 2015, and projected that it would reach 50-70 percent of the fingerprint sensor market not controlled by Apple.

It’s a giant in its field, in other words, and with new innovations like its recent under-glass smartphone sensor deployments, FPC is poised for further growth going forward.
