Fingerprint Cards‘ relationship with smartphone OEM Huawei remains strong as another new smartphone featuring FPC tech is announced. Huawei’s upcoming Changxiang 5S will feature an FPC1025 sensor.

The latest integration follows very quickly on the heels of the Huawei Mate 8, which also featured an FPC1025. Huawei is evidently satisfied with the fingerprint sensor, having also integrated it recently into the Honor 5X smartphone, the Mate S, and the MaiMang 4.

This latest integration further solidifies not only FPC’s relationship with this particular client, but its status as a leading fingerprint sensor supplier to smartphone OEMs in general. A booming market has helped to significantly boost the company’s profits for this year, and further success is expected going forward.
