Wednesday brought with it the announcement that Fujitsu’s corporate notebook computer, LIFEBOOK, will now contain integrated fingerprint sensors courtesy of Validity Natural ID.
The inclusion of fingerprint sensors on the LIFEBOOK (currently available in Japan) supports both companies’ commitment to flexible and secure designs. According to Michael Maia, Validity’s vice president of sales and marketing, “Fujitsu has demonstrated a strong expertise in the development and support of fingerprint sensors used to secure enterprise computers.”
The LIFEBOOK is the first mass market Fujitsu product protected by Validity Natural ID solutions, effectively bringing biometric security to those rightly dissatisfied with password authentication.
About Validity:
Based in San Jose, California, Validity provides fingerprint sensors that promise the highest level of performance, security, cost-effectiveness, and design flexibility.
