This year’s Federal Identity Forum & Exposition (FedID 2018) is right around the corner, and FindBiometrics is going to be reporting live from the event.
It’s going to be a big deal. FedID has long been one of the world’s most important government-focused identity events, and organizers expect this year’s edition to attract 1,200 participants including 300 professionals from more than 50 federal agencies. It will also feature 75 industry exhibitors, many of which will be showing off some of the most sophisticated biometric solutions available today.
And there will be more of an opportunity than ever for companies to showcase those solutions. As FedID Planning Committee Chair Duane Blackburn explained in a recent interview with FindBiometrics, this will be the first FedID in which exhibitors will be given a stage from which to demonstrate their technologies. Meanwhile, there will still be the usual workshops to facilitate smaller group conversations, providing an excellent opportunity for attendees and industry representatives to network and share ideas.
FindBiometrics will be covering this major industry event live from the show floor, so stay tuned for our exclusive coverage. FedID 2018 is slated to run from September 25th to 27th, and will take place at the Tampa Convention Center in Tampa, Florida.
