“The station, which features an adjustable wall bracket, can perform 1:3,000 matches per second, and enables multi-factor authentication with its RF card reading capability and PIN entry support.”
BioConnect and Suprema are preparing to showcase a number of new offerings at this year’s ISC West security trade show. Carrying on their longtime partnership, BioConnect is bringing the biometric security software, while Suprema is offering the hardware.
Chief among the offerings is FaceStation 2, a new and upgraded version of the award-winning FaceStation facial recognition device launched back in 2012. The station, which features an adjustable wall bracket, can perform 1:3,000 matches per second, and enables multi-factor authentication with its RF card reading capability and PIN entry support.
Looking more to the software side, BioConnect will also showcase a new mobile app solution, BioConnect ID Mobile. It’s an API/SDK package designed to let enterprise developers integrate biometric authentication into their mobile apps, supporting identification based on the eye, face, fingerprint, and voice. With mobile biometrics technology growing increasingly widespread, it could prove an appealing security option to organizations wishing to maintain or foster BYOD culture.
Other offerings to be showcased include BioConnect ID CabinetShield, a cabinet lock incorporating fingerprint scanning and card-based security; and the BioConnect ID Enterprise and BioConnect ID Cybershield access control solutions.
ISC West 2017 runs from April 4th to 6th in Las Vegas.
