FacePhi is celebrating its new ISO 22301 certification. The accolade is a measure of Business Continuity, Security and Resilience Management.
From FacePhi’s perspective, the certification indicates that the company is able to guarantee a high level of operational stability to its clients. That, in turn, should make FacePhi more appealing to organizations that want to be able to weather a potential crisis. As it relates to the evaluation itself, FacePhi was able to demonstrate that its internal systems and procedures have enough built-in redundancy to remain functional, even in the midst of a natural disaster like a fire or a flood, or a large-scale health crisis like the COVID-19 pandemic.
FacePhi was able to pass the ISO 22301 test with the maximum compliance level. The company noted that identity verification is a critical function in many industries, so a digital identity provider that can guarantee uptime is an extremely valuable partner for many organizations. In that regard, FacePhi suggested that its clients would be able to implement strategies with more confidence knowing that their identity infrastructure is reliable and that they will be able to recover quickly in the event of an emergency.
“Our Business Continuity Plan being recognised with this certification places FacePhi at the forefront of the digital identity sector in terms of solvency and organizational resilience, demonstrating maximum effort in investment to maintain guarantees of the service provided, regardless of any circumstances which may occur,” said FacePhi Quality & Systems Director Jorge Félix.
FacePhi brought in €13.16 million in sales in 2021, a figure that represents the most successful year in its history. The company has already received ISO 27001 certification, which attests to its ability to handle personal information. Since then, FacePhi has also been certified under Spain’s National Security Framework, and passed the second level of the iBeta presentation attack detection test.
