EyeVerify has been invited to show off its flagship product at a major fintech conference early next year. The company will showcase its Eyeprint ID solution at FinovateEurope in London, an event running on February 9th and 10th.
Eyeprint ID is EyeVerify’s eye vein biometric identification system. The company launched iOS and Android versions of its system at the start of the year, and has since seen the solution integrated into financial organizations’ mobile apps for user login. At the same time, the underlying technology has proven popular in other applications, with RSA having integrated Eyeprint ID into its secure authentication SDK, for example.
With the ubiquity of smartphone cameras able to capture users’ eye vein images for Eyeprint ID, it’s no surprise that the technology is catching the interest of players in the fintech industry. The system was a big hit at this year’s Money20/20 conference, and is likely to prove popular at FinovateEurope in February. Commenting on EyeVerify’s invitation in a press release, Finovate CEO Eric Mattson asserted that “EyeVerify’s Eyeprint ID technology represents an entirely different modality for biometric authentication on smartphones,” adding, “We’re excited to see the newest version, as implemented by real financial institutions, on stage at FinovateEurope.”
