Iris-based authentication solutions company EyeLock LLC, and business and technical solutions provider Integral Technology Solutions have announced a partnership that will allow EyeLock to further expand its products into the life sciences market.
“Our partnership with Integral Technology Solutions, along with their innovative iris authentication integration platform, represents a revolutionary product centered around EyeLock’s myris handheld device for iris authentication,” said EyeLock CEO Jeff Carter. “With EyeLock’s extensive global distributor relationships, this partnership will create an even higher demand for our portable iris technology around the world,” he added.
EyeLock will look to provide the portable and USB-powered myris — in combination with Integral’s iris authentication platform — to both the regulated and non-regulated manufacturing industries, aiming to position the solution as a privacy-friendly and touchless iris authentication product at a time when hygiene is of growing importance due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Integral’s platform is designed to meet the GxP requirements — an abbreviation used to denote “good practice” quality guidelines and regulations — that have been established by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and is aimed specifically at the medical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, and food processing industries where such requirements are needed.
“Integral’s customers in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and personal health industries will benefit from EyeLock’s iris authentication technology for supply chain management,” said Marc Diament, Chief Executive Officer of Integral Technology Solutions. “We see pressure on life science manufacturers to achieve greater levels of data integrity and operator accountability and EyeLock’s iris authentication technology offers a unique ability to achieve this without increasing friction in daily operations.”
