“As with other integrations of Daon’s pioneering mobile platform, Experian’s will enable fingerprint, voice, and facial recognition for partners using the CrossCore platform.”
Experian is going to be the next major organization to take advantage of Daon’s IdentityX biometric authentication platform, with plans to integrate it into its CrossCore identity security system.
As with other integrations of Daon’s pioneering mobile platform, Experian’s will enable fingerprint, voice, and facial recognition for partners using the CrossCore platform. Explaining the move in a statement, Experian VP Kathleen Peters said that “Daon’s biometric authentication will help clients reduce fraud, while reducing customer friction.”
Commenting on the integration, Daon CEO Tom Grissen highlighted the convenience offered by IdentityX. “Experian has always believed that data has the potential to transform lives and create a better tomorrow,” he said. “That requires data to be understood and interpreted. It also requires a friction-free way to access that data. That’s why Daon is proud to partner with an innovator like Experian to help make its CrossCore platform even more powerful and accessible.”
The integration is the latest example of Experian’s adoption of cutting-edge anti-fraud technology. Last month, the company announced a partnership with BioCatch to bring that company’s behavioral biometrics technology to CrossCore.
For Daon, the partnership further burnishes its reputation and that of its IdentityX platform, which has proven to be a pioneer in mobile biometric authentication through a range of high-profile deployments.
