EnterTech Systems has found a new distributor for its biometric access control technology. Mayflex, an IT infrastructure company, will distribute EnterTech’s offerings – including those developed by operating partner Suprema – in the UK.
In a statement, Mayflex executive Gary Harmer expressed his company’s delight at the new partnership, calling Suprema and EnterTech’s technology a “vital piece” of IP security installations. “We already have a number of industry recognised access control solutions in our product portfolio,” he explained, “however with the addition of biometrics we are meeting the demands of those installations that require that additional level of security, such as Data Centres, cash handling offices, or environments where sensitive records such as HR information is kept.”
Among the offerings that Mayflex will be distributing for EnterTech is BioConnect, a highly scalable access control system that uses both facial and fingerprint recognition for authentication. The versatility of EnterTech’s access control offerings is demonstrated by the range of deployments the company has seen, from securing a medical marijuana facility in Leamington, Ontario, to improving the security of a luxury rental property in Seattle.
Harmer added that the BioConnect platform can be integrated with Paxton access control, which is a brand his company already represents, further complementing the company’s ability to deliver advanced IP security. And given the versatility of EnterTech’s technology, it should prove a win-win in the UK market.
