Facilities management consultancy Empro has partnered with digital identity verification provider OneID to develop a new Bespoke TUPE App aimed at streamlining employee verification and onboarding processes. This collaboration builds on OneID’s recent expansion of digital identity services, including its partnership with NatWest for Scandinavian operations.
The app, developed for Empro Talent, combines Right to Work checks and payroll setup into a single unified process. It incorporates AI-powered passport scanning for identity verification and enables instant bank account verification for payroll purposes.
The solution addresses traditional inefficiencies in employee onboarding by consolidating multiple steps that were previously handled separately. The integration leverages OneID’s technology to automate compliance checks while reducing administrative workload, particularly important as UK regulations continue to evolve in the digital identity space.
“We chose to work with OneID based on their experience, dedication to a great user experience, data management and integration options,” explained Emma Armstrong, Digital Director at Empro. “They presented as an excellent provider, and I loved the fact that they were local to us.”
OneID, which is government-certified and FCA-registered, provides real-time digital identity verification services using bank-verified data, with coverage extending to approximately 50 million UK adults. The company maintains B Corp certification, reflecting its commitment to social and environmental standards.
The new app offers several key functionalities, including automated compliance and fraud prevention measures, streamlined administrative processes for employers, and simplified onboarding procedures that reduce manual data entry requirements for employees. These features align with emerging standards in digital identity verification, particularly important as facilities management sectors face increasing pressure to maintain secure and efficient workforce management systems.
