Digital Trusted Identity Services (DTIS) has named Maurine Fanguy as its new Chief Executive Officer, bringing over two decades of executive leadership experience in security and biometrics to the role. DTIS, a joint venture between HireRight and the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), operates as an FBI-approved channeler specializing in biometric and biographical data processing for regulated industries. The appointment comes at a time of significant growth for DTIS, which has recently expanded its fingerprint processing capabilities and strengthened its position in aviation security.
Fanguy’s extensive background includes positions as Managing Director at Accenture Federal Services, where she led the Homeland Security portfolio, and Vice President of Solutions and Strategy at Idemia (formerly MorphoTrust USA), where she helped develop innovative identity verification solutions for the aviation sector. She also served in key positions within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Transportation Security Administration (TSA), bringing valuable regulatory expertise to her new role.
“Stepping into the role of CEO is an exciting opportunity to harness my diverse security experience and passion for growth,” said Fanguy. “I’m eager to build upon my background in transformation and partnerships to drive innovation and diversification at DTIS.”
HireRight CEO Euan Menzies expressed support for the appointment, stating, “HireRight and DTIS share a commitment to providing high-quality, thorough screening services, and Maurine possesses the background and expertise to expand our already outstanding customer satisfaction standards.”
DTIS currently processes background checks for more than 300 airports and 75 airlines through the Transportation Security Clearinghouse, representing a critical link in the nation’s aviation security infrastructure. The organization operates multiple “livescan” locations in Florida, using advanced fingerprint capture technology for rapid and accurate biometric processing. As an integral part of the TSA’s Direct Aviation Channeling program, DTIS provides electronic fingerprinting and secure criminal history checks, services that have become increasingly important as aviation security requirements continue to evolve.
