Daon is trying to make it easier for organizations to take advantage of its IdentityX onboarding and authentication platform. To that end, Daon has released an improved version of the platform that can be deployed as a web app with minimal coding requirements.
The new solution is geared toward organizations that do not want to dedicate the time and resources they would need to integrate IdentityX into their own native apps using Daon’s SDKs. The low/no code version of the platform is built to be an out-of-the-box solution that can be set up in a matter of hours, while still giving clients the ability to configure the platform with brand logos and custom workflows at a later time.
“We’re always searching for new ways to bring the unrivaled power and data transparency of our IdentityX platform to new customers with the least amount of integration overhead and the shortest time-to-market,” said Daon Americas President Conor White. “We’re driven to empower our customers on their own terms, which means making our most powerful capabilities fully available in any deployment configuration that suits customers’ needs.”
According to Daon, the enhanced platform will reduce an organization’s administrative costs, both because it requires less development time and because all of the data is hosted in Daon’s cloud (rather than internally). Daon already processes hundreds of millions of transactions on a daily basis, which ensures that the platform can scale to meet the needs of any enterprise.
Organizations that do adopt the new offering will have access to more data, and the ability to set their own identity priorities. The solution can be deployed on-premises or in the cloud, and can provide coverage for desktop and mobile devices, and for both app and browser channels. In that regard, Daon’s solution uses face and document recognition to match a selfie to the image on a photo ID. End users only need to register once, and their information can be used to enable biometric authentication in any corporate channel.
Daon has spent much of the past year promoting its VeriFLY app, which gives people the ability to upload and share vaccine and COVID-19 test credentials when they travel. The company also optimized IdentityX for the ForgeRock Identity Platform back in 2020.
