Daon has announced that the president of its Americas division, Conor White, will participate in a prominent panel discussion on biometric technology at this year’s Money20/20 conference and expo in Las Vegas.
It’s a high-profile session. Entitled “Biometrics Innovation & the New Password,” the panel discussion will feature other prominent speakers including Mastercard’s Ajay Bhalla, Safran Identity & Security’s Vincent Bouatou, Nok Nok Labs’ Phillip Dunkelberger, Wells Fargo’s Secil Watson, and FindBiometrics’ Peter O’Neill, who will moderate. For its part, Daon has proven to be a prominent biometric solutions provider, offering its mobile identification technology to major names like USAA and Mastercard.
The biometrics industry has been enjoying surging interest from the financial services sector, where it has powerful applications. It was a key topic at last year’s Money20/20 conference, and with rising awareness about digital security issues and the increasing prominence of biometric technology in consumer devices and services, it should prove an even bigger draw at this year’s event.
Money20/20 runs from October 23rd to 26th in Las Vegas, and the Biometrics Innovation & the New Password panel will take place on the morning of the 24th. Stay posted to FindBiometrics as we report live from the conference.
