“…the new IdentityX solution supports in-band, out-of-band, and step-up biometric authentication, and helps to ensure e-KYC and AML compliance.”
Daon has announced a new biometric identity solution tailored for the ForgeRock Identity Platform, dubbed “IdentityX nodes”.
It’s an adaptation of Daon’s pioneering, multimodal biometric IdentityX platform, an early trailblazer of the mobile biometrics revolution. Through ForgeRock’s identity platform, the new IdentityX nodes are designed to let companies easily integrate biometric authentication and onboarding into their workflows, tailored for their specific needs. This, in turn, can help to minimize online fraud and resultant losses.
The solution is the product of a longstanding partnership between ForgeRock and Daon, with the latter having been an early partner in the ForgeRock Trust Network.
“Such achievements are only possible through deep collaboration and finely tuned technological harmony,” asserted Daon CEO Tom Grissen in a statement announcing the solution. “This joint solution delivers the strongest possible security in a frictionless customer experience, maximizes the value of ForgeRock’s Intelligent Authentication approach for its customers, and represents an exciting new chapter in Daon’s storied partnership with ForgeRock.”
The companies say that the new IdentityX solution supports in-band, out-of-band, and step-up biometric authentication, and helps to ensure e-KYC and AML compliance. It’s aimed at a range of application areas, including online banking, payments, and gaming.
The announcement comes soon after the news that ForgeRock had raised $93.5 million in a Series E funding round led by Riverwood Capital.
