CyberLink Corp. and Asteria Corporation have announced that FaceMe Security, CyberLink’s AI facial recognition platform, now integrates with Gravio, Asteria’s no-code IoT and workflow automation platform, enabling organizations to route facial recognition events into enterprise workflows without writing custom integration code.
The connection works through webhook-based triggers. When FaceMe Security detects a defined event, such as a watchlisted individual appearing on camera, a VIP arrival, or an unauthorized access attempt, the system fires a webhook that Gravio receives and processes. Gravio then routes the event to any of more than 60 connected enterprise platforms, including Slack, Microsoft Teams, kintone, and business intelligence tools. A recognition event can automatically generate a security alert, update an access log, push a staff notification, or feed real-time data into an analytics dashboard without manual intervention or additional development work.
All facial analysis runs on edge devices. No biometric data is transmitted to the cloud, a design choice that keeps sensitive information on-premises and within the control of the deploying organization. Gravio keeps AI inference on local edge devices rather than routing video or face-template data to cloud services, a data-handling posture Asteria argues is material for enterprise procurement reviews in regulated Japanese and APAC verticals.
Hidetomo Hagiwara, Vice President of Sales at CyberLink, said the combination allows organizations to move seamlessly from authentication to notification and analysis in a single integrated process. The integration targets smart city, smart facilities, and retail environments, where security teams typically lack the development resources to build and maintain custom API connections between biometric systems and business software.
The Gravio partnership extends the automation direction established by FaceMe Security 8.0’s enhanced automation capabilities, which introduced HTTP API triggering and automatic IP camera detection to reduce manual setup overhead. It also follows CyberLink and VIA Technologies’ integrated access control launch in late March 2026, continuing a pattern of FaceMe Security partnership deals targeting enterprise facilities management. FaceMe Security has also established prior integrations with Genetec, the video management software provider.
CyberLink Corp. is headquartered in Taipei and listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. Asteria Corporation is headquartered in Tokyo and listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
