“The solution was recently deployed by BRMalls, a major shopping mall chain in Brazil, and Allevate’s domestic resellers are reporting ‘significant success’ with the technology, according to a statement from CyberExtruder.”
CyberExtruder’s facial recognition technology is having a substantial impact on the operations of one end client in Brazil.
The news comes by way of CyberExtruder’s UK partner Allevate, whose Face Searcher cloud service, which is designed to let client organizations easily deploy facial recognition through their own IP cameras, uses CyberExtruder’s Aureus 3D modeling technology to help refine its accuracy in facial recognition. The solution was recently deployed by BRMalls, a major shopping mall chain in Brazil, and Allevate’s domestic resellers are reporting “significant success” with the technology, according to a statement from CyberExtruder.
Elaborating further, BRMall Security Manager Jesse Barbosa says that since the company’s flagship mall in Rio de Janeiro implemented the technology this past July, it resulted in “[t]he identification of five criminals”, which “already has proved to us how effective it is in supporting our daily operations.”
News of the success comes soon after CyberExtruder’s Aureus 3Dv solution was integrated into ConvergenceTP’s video management system integration platform, pointing to a raising profile for CyberExtruder’s technology in the biometric security market.
