CyberExtruder has launched a new version of its Aureus 3D facial recognition software.
The key advantage of version 5.8 of the solution is its improved speed. CyberExtruder say the time needed for it to generate a biometric template has been cut in half, from 100ms to 50ms. In a statement announcing the upgrade, CyberExtruder says Aureus 3D’s enhanced speed, “coupled with improved accuracy of matches… delivers industry leading performance and reliability.”
The company went on to emphasize the technology’s utility in applications such as “loss prevention and security, access control, law enforcement and Safe City, hospitality, and gaming.”
News of the upgrade arrives soon after CyberExtruder announced that its Aureus solution had been integrated into ConvergenceTP’s video management system integration platform. The Aureus technology also recently won praise from a deployment via Allevate’s Face Searcher surveillance security solution.
