CrucialTrak is trying to expand its customer base through a new partnership with the Critical Environments Group (CEG). The partnership specifically concerns CrucialTrak’s biometric readers and access control gates, which CEG will be marketing and selling CrucialTrak to organizations that are looking to update their data center and IT infrastructure.
CrucialTrak is the developer of the contactless Biometric Access Control System (BACS), which offers four different biometric modalities. To that end, the BACS can authenticate users with face, fingerprint, iris, and palm vein recognition.
Together, CEG and CrucialTrak will be pitching the solution to potential customers in a number of different industries, including finance, education, government, and healthcare. CEG will be selling CrucialTrak’s Speed Gates, Enroll Station technology, Access Management System, and Visitor Management System in addition to the company’s Touchless Access Readers.
“Mission-critical facilities have always required secure access, but as touchless engagement becomes the new normal, they now have an urgent need for solutions that address employee health and safety as well as facility security,” said CEG CEO Mike McClain. “Ensuring security and safety in these facilities is a logical extension of our infrastructure optimization capabilities.”
“CEG has a strong presence in the critical environment marketplace,” added Brett Mason, the CrucialTrak Director of Channel Sales for the Americas. “Their experience with advanced technology is unmatched, and the pride in their craft overall makes them the perfect partner for CrucialTrak.”
CrucialTrak weighed in on the subject of enterprise biometrics in a recent episode of the ID Talk Podcast, which was presented in conjunction with ISC West. MarketsandMarkets has previously predicted that the market for touchless sensing solutions would climb to $15.3 billion by 2025. If anything, that number has only gone up during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has generated more interest in safer and more sanitary contactless authentication options.
