“The DigitalPersona solution addresses […] the critical challenges of going beyond 2FA and MFA, providing complete security coverage, reducing the reliance on the user and offering rapid adaptability in an ever-changing threat environment.” – Richard Bechalany, Middle Eastern Regional Director, Crossmatch.
The Gulf Information Security Expo & Conference is next week, and Crossmatch will be on hand to showcase its DigitalPersona multi-factor authentication platform, the company has announced.
The platform, which Crossmatch acquired back in 2014, enables authentication via biometrics, mobile devices, smart cards, and FIDO-compliant tokens; and it was recently integrated into IBM Security Access Manager. The platform is also compatible with Microsoft Active Directory and supports Microsoft Office 365.
In a statement announcing Crossmatch’s plans for GISEC, Crossmatch Middle Eastern Regional Director Richard Bechalany said, “Gulf state and Middle Eastern organizations have unique concerns regarding security, convenience and scalability that their current authentication solutions fail to address,” adding that DigitalPersona “addresses these as well as the critical challenges of going beyond 2FA and MFA, providing complete security coverage”. The company also pointed out that its Verifier Sentry handheld biometric scanner was recently deployed by government authorities in Saudi Arabia to verify Hajj permits.
GISEC is scheduled to run from May 1st to 3rd at the Dubai World Trade Center in the UAE, with GISEC slated to showcase its solutions from stand A10.
