“The DigitalPersona platform supports multiple biometric factors, including fingerprint, facial, and voice recognition, as well as more traditional authentication mechanisms like passwords, PINs, and security questions.”
Crossmatch has acquired a new distribution partner for its DigitalPersona multi-factor authentication platform.
A provider of virtual work environments and cloud solutions, Accordant Technology also assists its clients with things like app deliver, the end user experience, and mobility. And with authentication security being an important consideration in all these areas, its partnership with Crossmatch makes a lot of sense.
In a statement announcing the new partnership, Crossmatch’s Director of North American Channel Sales, Anthony Graziano, explained that while virtualization services are helping businesses to take control of their data and devices, “many organizations overlook the importance of assuring the identity of the remote user.” Thus bringing “DigitalPersona multifactor authentication to Accordant’s Citrix domain expertise gives customers a partner that focuses on delivery security, convenience and user friendly technology solutions.”
The DigitalPersona platform supports multiple biometric factors, including fingerprint, facial, and voice recognition, as well as more traditional authentication mechanisms like passwords, PINs, and security questions. On top of that it can track behavioral biometrics and GPS data, and can also work with smart cards and Bluetooth devices. Thus it offers a comprehensive mix of authentication factors, which Accordant will now offers to its clients in turn.
