Credolab and ZOLOZ have announced a partnership aimed at improving digital identity verification and fraud prevention for financial institutions and fintech platforms.
The collaboration combines ZOLOZ’s AI-driven identity verification with Credolab’s behavioral metadata analytics. Together, the companies aim to help lenders onboard customers faster, detect fraud earlier, and make more accurate credit decisions.
Rising Fraud Threat
Fraud remains one of the most persistent risks in digital finance. According to Alloy’s 2025 State of Fraud Report, sixty percent of financial institutions reported an increase in fraud over the past year, led by credit card fraud, account takeovers, and identity theft. Consumers lost more than twelve and a half billion dollars to fraud in 2024, representing a twenty-five percent rise from the previous year. The LexisNexis True Cost of Fraud Study found that U.S. financial institutions now lose an average of five dollars and seventy-five cents for every dollar of fraud once compliance and reputational costs are included.
The new partnership aims to strengthen defenses at earlier stages of the customer journey, where financial institutions increasingly face pressure to detect risk without adding friction for legitimate users. Credolab and ZOLOZ say their integrated solution will enhance both identity verification and behavioral intelligence, using privacy-preserving analytics to identify abnormal device and user patterns.
“This collaboration bridges two essential layers of digital trust: who the user is and how they behave,” said Michele Tucci, Chief Strategy Officer and co-founder of Credolab. “By combining ZOLOZ’s identity verification with our behavioral intelligence, lenders can identify risk earlier in the user journey, reduce fraud losses, and create a frictionless onboarding experience for legitimate customers.”
Proven Track Record
William Yao, Chief Technology Officer at ZOLOZ, said the partnership supports the company’s goal of making trust simple. He added that the integration with Credolab would help more financial institutions adopt reliable and inclusive digital identity solutions.
Credolab’s analytics platform has processed more than six hundred and fifty million datasets globally, improving clients’ credit-approval rates by up to twenty percent while reducing default losses by fifteen percent. ZOLOZ’s identity-verification systems are used by major financial institutions and digital platforms across Asia and other regions.
The companies presented their collaboration at the Singapore Fintech Festival this week, where they highlighted plans to expand the joint solution across multiple markets in 2026. The partnership comes as behavioral biometrics and AI-powered fraud detection have become critical tools for financial institutions facing increasingly sophisticated attack methods.
