“The latest additions to our continually evolving portfolio of biometric products provide Honeywell Commercial Security’s global network of resellers with solutions for an ever-changing business environment going forward.” -Shiraz Kapadia, CEO & President of Invixium
Touchless biometric access and workforce management company Invixium is continuing to expand. The company announced it has entered into a global distribution agreement with Honeywell Commercial Security. The partnership will see Honeywell reselling the entire suite of Invixium contactless biometric security products, including the newly upgradable IXM TOUCH 2 and the TITAN Enhancement Kit.
Those new solutions comprise Invixium’s lauded efforts to adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic landscape. As outbreak response measures pushed businesses to adapt to social distancing and contactless security measures, Invixium rose to the occasion by rapidly pivoting to a touchless, health-centric access model.
“This agreement allows us to expand our frictionless access offerings to provide our enterprise customers with choices as we work with them to customize their integrated security systems solutions and support their reopening strategies,” commented Marcus Logan, Global Offering Leader for Enterprise Solutions at Honeywell Commercial Security.
A software update to the IXM TOUCH 2 enables fully touchless access via face authentication for up to 5,000 users. The Enhancement Kit, meanwhile, brings temperature screening capabilities to the company’s flagship IXM TITAN biometric terminal, enabling enterprises to bar access to subjects showing a fever—one of the symptoms of COVID-19. Invixium’s quick adaptation to the global crisis was lauded by Frost & Sullivan, who rewarded the company with it’s 2020 Entrepreneurial Company of the Year award.
“This agreement with Honeywell allows us to better support organizations around the world as they focus on protecting their workforces and restoring business operations,” said Invixium President and CEO Shiraz Kapadia. “The latest additions to our continually evolving portfolio of biometric products provide Honeywell Commercial Security’s global network of resellers with solutions for an ever-changing business environment going forward.”
Earlier this month, Invixium formed a distribution agreement with SIASA to help expand the company’s presence in the Latin American market.
