“In a statement announcing the additions to the team, CLEAR framed them as part of a “major nationwide expansion.””
Biometric security screening specialist CLEAR has dramatically expanded its executive team with five new additions.
Todd Edebohls is the company’s new SVP of Corporate Development, having previously held business development roles with Amazon.com and Zocdoc and senior positions with D.E. Shaw and Inside Jobs. Joe Trelin is now CLEAR’s SVP of External Commerce and API, bringing to the company experience in senior roles with Amazon.com, Amazon Web Services, IMDb, NBC, and Standard & Poor’s. Former US Customs Service Chief of Staff David Cohen is the company’s new Chief Administrative Officer; experienced Avon and Procter & Gamble finance exec Maritza Martinez is now CLEAR’s VP of Finance; and former Lehman Brothers compatriot Stewart Whitman is the company’s new Head of Product and Project Management.
In a statement announcing the additions to the team, CLEAR framed them as part of a “major nationwide expansion.”
The company specializes in fingerprint- and iris-based biometric security screening, and its solutions have been adopted by airlines and sports stadiums. CLEAR says it currently serves a base of 700,000 members across the US, and is evidently aiming to increase that number dramatically.
