“Boasting of FIPS 201 PIV and Mobile ID FAP 10 certification, the fingerprint reader has an extremely small form factor.”
In just about a month, SecuGen‘s Hamster Pro 10 will make its return to the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The fingerprint reader made its debut there a year ago, and still remains an impressive piece of technology. Boasting of FIPS 201 PIV and Mobile ID FAP 10 certification, the fingerprint reader has an extremely small form factor. And it’s supported by Software Development Kits for Android, Linux, and Windows, making the device compatible with a number of platforms.
The device also sports some impressive aesthetic qualities. In a statement announcing that the Hamster Pro 10 will once again be showcased at CES, SecuGen Sales and Marketing VP Jeff Brown emphasized that the device is “very attractive in its slim, white case,” adding, “The case of the Hamster Pro 10 is a ‘tour de force’ unlike any of its predecessors, and our partners love the new product.”
The device is powered by SecuGen’s ultra-slim U10 fingerprint sensor, which was launched together with the Hamster 10 Pro about a year ago and will of course also be showcased at next year’s CES.
The event runs from January 8th to 11th at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with SecuGen demonstrating its products from booth 35232 in the South Hall.
