Government Contract Aggregator Carahsoft to Help Plurilock Reach US Gov’t Sector

Plurilock is aiming to further extend its reach in the government market through a new partnership with Carahsoft.

Based in Virginia, the latter is a major contract holder with both the GSA Schedule and NASA’s Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) contract acquisition programs. The company describes itself as a government contract aggregator for its technology vendors, among which Plurilock can now be counted.

Plurilock already got on a bit of a roll in the government sector last year, with the US Army’s NETCOM and the DoD’s Defense Innovation Unit Experimental agency having trialed Plurilock’s behavioral biometrics software for internal personnel authentication. The company immediately launched into an expansionary phase after that contract win, given its heightened profile.

Now, Carahsoft will offer Plurilock’s authentication solution to the public sector through the SEWP.

In a statement announcing the partnership, the Vancouver-based Plurilock noted that it had recently opened a new office in Delaware to support its US customers, with the company’s CEO, Ian Paterson, asserting, “We’ve seen tremendous growth in demand for our product recently, and we are doubling down on our commitment to support our U.S. federal customers.” With Plurilock’s solution now available through Carahsoft’s SEWP V Contracts NNG15SC03B and NNG15SC27B, it should be easier than ever for the company to reach such clientele.
