There’s a new fingerprint scanning terminal on the market from Anviz Global. Dubbed the C2 Pro, the device puts an emphasis on speed and ease of use.
Anviz asserts that the C2 Pro can scan a fingerprint in half a second – a marked improvement over the average which the company pegs between 0.8 seconds and one second. It also boasts other impressive stats, with a one GHz processor and the ability to store 5000 fingerprints. Moreover, Anviz says it sports an ergonomic design and that its installation is “stress-free”.
The device is also capable of employing further security layers, namely passwords and identification cards; and it’s compatible with most major card readers including HID Prox, EM, Mifare, ALLEGION, and IClass. And like all Anviz devices, it’s compatible with CrossChex Cloud, an access control and attendance tracking management system.
Anviz has a wealth of experience in these kinds of biometric systems, having won contracts for airport and bank deployments of its fingerprint scanning technology, and developed iris scanning technology as well. While multimodal systems are starting to become increasingly popular in a range of deployments, an easy-to-use solution like the C2 Pro fingerprint scanner is ideal for businesses looking for a convenient and straightforward solution.
