This year’s Money20/20 Europe is a wrap, and as always, the event offered a lot to take in. At its new home in the RAI in Amsterdam, Money20/20 Europe attracted more than 5,000 attendees from over 1,500 companies as well as major media attention, and covered innovations in a wide range of areas, from AI to blockchain to mobile devices.
Biometric technology was once again a major theme, probably more than ever before, and not just because of its current ubiquity as a means of login for mobile banking and payments services – though that was certainly a continuing trend that enjoyed its share of the spotlight, too.
