Blink Identity‘s Co-Founder and CEO, Mary Haskett, will speak at next week’s KNOW Conference, the company has announced.
It’s a good fit for the identity-focused conference, with Blink Identity specializing in facial recognition for biometric identification. The company made headlines last year with its development of biometric ticketing technology in collaboration with Ticketmaster, and its acquisition of $1.5 million in seed funding. But in a statement announcing Haskett’s participation in KNOW 2019, the company also asserted that Blink Identity sensors have been “deployed for operational testing at US military bases around the world.”
The statement also indicated that Haskett’s presentation at KNOW 2019 will discuss “how to build trust in digital and physical interactions within the modern marketplace, as the conference focuses on the future of trust in the identity industry.”
That could indicate potential plans on Blink Identity’s part to bring its facial recognition technology into new applications. In any case, the company’s participation in KNOW 2019 reflects the growing prominence of facial recognition technology, both in highly secure access control deployments, and in everyday life.
KNOW 2019 is slated to run from March 24th to 27th at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
