SecuredTouch has become the latest biometrics company to join forces with ForgeRock. The behavioral biometrics specialist is now a part of the ForgeRock Trust Network, and has also been integrated into the ForgeRock Identity Platform.
“Behavioral biometrics is a sophisticated, new weapon in the war against fraudsters,” said ForgeRock SVP Ben Goodman. “When you combine this technology with the ForgeRock Identity Platform you can achieve a balance of security and usability which once seemed impossible.”
SecuredTouch uses behavioral biometrics to provide ongoing authentication based on the way an individual uses a device. The platform builds a profile using information like typing patterns, mouse movements, and finger pressure, and assesses the legitimacy of each interaction to guard against potential fraud.
As a member of the ForgeRock Trust Network, SecuredTouch also becomes a vetted provider of anti-fraud technology, which should raise its appeal for other prospective clients in the financial sector.
“Enterprises, particularly in the financial services and e-commerce sectors, need to find the right balance between security and user experience,” added SecuredTouch CEO Yair Finzi.
The ForgeRock Trust Network already includes major players like BioCatch and BioConnect, which means SecuredTouch is in good company as the newest member of the platform.
