Enterprise Biometrics Month: BioConnect Virtual Trade Show Kicks Off with CEO Keynote

In the wake of ISC West’s COVID-19 related postponement, identity and access specialist BioConnect is hosting its first Virtual Trade Show: three days of programming starting March 18.

To kick things off, BioConnect Founder, CEO & Chairman Rob Douglas hosted an online keynote:

Beginning with an acknowledgement of the pandemic crisis, Douglas gives an overview of the Virtual Trade Show, which will involve daily keynotes from the CEO himself, presentations from BioConnect CTO & CISO Courtney Gibson, live interactive chat sessions and more.

This first video presentation delves into security threats facing the modern enterprise, illustrated with help form a remote video demonstrating the ease with which a standard key fob can be copied. Douglas then gives a tour of BioConnect’s virtual conference booth, walking through many fascinating use cases for the company’s technology.

In addition to BioConnect’s Virtual Trade Show, the company is participating in other digitized ISC West events. Both Douglas and Gibson joined Susan Stover, VP of Digital Content for FindBiometrics, on the most recent episode of the ID Talk Podcast.

Furthermore, Douglas will be one of the expert panelists on the panel “Understanding Security, Convenience and Privacy in Biometrics Systems“, originally scheduled for ISC West, but now to be presented in association with the conference organizers via ID Talk.
