Biometrics News – Voice Recognition
The Omaha-based voice biometrics specialist V2verify has revealed that it will be a member of Dreamit’s Fall 2019 SecureTech Cohort. The Dreamit accelerator has already backed more than 320 startups, and was set up to assist companies that are working to solve tech problems in a range of different industries.
The incoming SecureTech Cohort will focus on physical and cybersecurity challenges. V2verify was selected for its voice authentication technology, which can be leveraged for access control and can streamline the user experience while securing sensitive data.
“V2verify’s voice biometric technology has the potential to disrupt the identity and access management space by combining speed, accuracy, and security,” said Dreamit SecureTech Managing Director Bob Stasio.
“We look forward to leveraging the Dreamit program and the vast experience of the Dreamit team to help scale our business,” added V2verify Co-Founder and CEO Damian De Rozairo.
The Fall 2019 SecureTech Cohort includes a total of six startups, which were chosen from a pool of more than 500 applications.
Reports and Data recently predicted that the voice biometrics market would hit $3.91 billion by 2026. V2verify previously outfitted Inzenius with voice tech for time and attendance tracking tech, while DoubleClick co-founder Grant Gregory joined the board of the company earlier this year.
