Nuance Communications will publish its third quarter results for 2019 on Wednesday, August 7th, the company has announced. The results will be issued after market close, and will come alongside a copy of prepared remarks for shareholders.
The results will follow an important corporate development, with Nuance having announced in June that it had established a definitive agreement to sell off its India SRS division, which, together with the sale of its Brazil SRS division, will allow the company to focus more strongly on its cloud-based and conversational AI technologies, rather than Subscription Revenue Services activities. Nuance has already indicated that the sale will slightly lower its anticipated revenues for Q3, but shareholders will surely be interested to see the results in detail.
Nuance’s Q2 report, meanwhile, showed a strong performance in terms of revenues, margins, and earnings per share, with the company credited in part to “revenue overachievement” in its Enterprise business activities and an improved revenue mix in its Healthcare activities.
Nuance has continued to see activity in these areas since the publication of its Q2 results, including a partnership with Red Box on voice services for the enterprise and the integration of its Dragon Medical platform into a Canadian healthcare provider’s documentation processes. The company has also been quite active in the automotive sector as car and components makers continue to integrate more sophisticated IT systems.
In conjunction with the publication of its Q3 results, Nuance will host a conference call for investors slated to begin at 5:00pm ET on August 7th. Interested parties can listen in over the phone or online.
