ImageWare continues reinvigorate its leadership team, announcing the appointment of Chris Dickson as its new Vice President of Sales.
In making the announcement, ImageWare detailed an impressive track record on Dickson’s part, asserting that he drove considerable sales growth in his most recent tenure at Bitfury, a blockchain company, and that in rebuilding the sales arm of Panaya, he saw quarter-over-quarter growth of 50 percent. Before that, he increased sales by 350 percent over an eighteen-month period at Verizon Enterprise, the statement added.
Dickson’s appointment comes after a Q1 report in which ImageWare’s new CEO, Kristin Taylor, outlined her ambitious plans to revitalize the enterprise-focused biometrics specialist and drive it toward profitability. The company has also announced the appointments of a new CFO and a new VP of Product Management in recent months, underlining its top-down transformation.
“Chris brings a welcomed sense of urgency and focus to our Company and a network of key relationships in the tech sector,” commented Taylor. “He applies his deep technical background to his role which gives us a vital sales edge as he guides us to achieve our revenue goals.”
For his part, Dickson lauded ImageWare’s technology, team, and new business strategies, and gestured at the broader market appetite for biometric solutions. “Multi-factor authentication that leverages Cloud-based biometric matching is fast becoming the new standard for ensuring and protecting access to data for both consumers, enterprises, and governments alike,” he said.
Dickson’s appointment took official effect on June 30th.
