IDEX Biometrics to Post Q2 Results on August 15

IDEX Biometrics will publish its Q2 results on Thursday, August 15th, the company has announced. The results will arrive alongside a conference call scheduled for 15:00 CET.

In announcing the Q2 update schedule, IDEX did not offer details about what kinds of information would be included in the report. But it’s likely to highlight IDEX’s activities in the emerging biometric cards market, which has been a key focus area for IDEX over the past several months.

With the biometric payment cards market in particular still in a nascent stage, such business activities tend not to be revenue generating, but rather revolve around laying the groundwork for anticipated market activity. Such activities can include strategic partnerships with companies in card manufacturing – a couple of which were recently announced by IDEX – and the attainment of important patents and certifications.
