BioRugged is on a roll this year, and is celebrating its growth and a pair of new product launches in its latest quarterly newsletter.
The devices in question include the BioWolf 60 and the BioWolf 60P – the latest entries in its lineup of IP65-rated 4/4/2 slap scan tablets. Building on the success of previous devices like the BioWolf LE, these new Android devices each feature a Kojak fingerprint reader from Integrated Biometrics, and offer a range of compelling applications including KYC, voter registration, border control, and more.
Meanwhile, BioRugged has also launched a new Biometric Enrollment and Verification Kit dubbed the Mark 3, which includes a thermal ID card printer and support for optional NFC chip encoding. And the Ruggbo 20R – BioRugged’s latest biometric handheld, features IP65 water and dust resistance and a Columbo fingerprint scanner from Integrated Biometrics.
In addition to the new devices in BioRugged’s expanding product line, the company is also celebrating growth in its workforce, with new hires in South African and Eastern offices. It all points to a general upward trajectory for BioRugged as the global market for tough, highly functional mobile biometric devices continues to grow – a trajectory that was discussed in a recent interview between FindBiometrics President Peter O’Neill and BioRugged COO Hof Retief at this year’s ID4Africa event in Johannesburg.
