“We are now able to offer our customers the strongest fraud protection, while making onboarding much faster and simpler…”
The eSports and gaming-oriented social media platform Zengaming has turned to AU10TIX for secure customer onboarding and document verification. The AU10TIX platform is able to verify photo ID documents and then match them against a selfie of the owner, with liveness detection to guard against identity fraud.
According to Zengaming, AU10TIX was chosen because it outperformed the competition in a series of tests. The platform was able to detect manipulated images that other solutions missed, and was also able to identify users even when dealing with images of borderline quality, which increased customer conversion rates.
“The gaming industry is continuously threatened by sophisticated fraud attempts, which is why we put effective fraud protection at the top of our priorities,” said Zengaming CEO Jimi Gecelter. “We are now able to offer our customers the strongest fraud protection, while making onboarding much faster and simpler.”
“AU10TIX is deployment-ready for eSports and gaming, already demonstrating its ability to combine better fraud protection and regulatory compliance, while improving operating efficiency, saving costs, and streamlining customer experience,” added AU10TIX Managing Director Ron Atzmon.
AU10TIX’s document matching technology has previously been deployed for a variety of non-gaming purposes, including the Visa ID Intelligence authentication platform and Socure’s ID+ platform. More recently, the asset firm TPG took a massive $60 million stake in the company, in a deal that was announced earlier this month.
