“Beyond this growth in scale, ISC East also featured high-profile speakers including Ray Kelly, who led the NYPD as its Commissioner during the transformative years after 9/11.”
ISC East is a wrap, and organizers are celebrating another successful event.
This year’s event saw 240 exhibitors – about 20 percent more than last year – and more than 7,000 security professionals in attendance. Organizers say they have received strong positive feedback from these guests, with one new robotics exhibitor reporting more than 5,000 booth visitors, “with excellent quality of traffic”.
The event also saw growth in the roster of new technologies sharing the spotlight. Offering commentary on the event in a statement, Industry VP Sherida Sessa explained that many of ISC East’s new exhibitors “represented newly added product categories – unmanned vehicles & robotics, biometrics, connected home, IoT and network security, as well as several others”.
Beyond this growth in scale, ISC East also featured high-profile speakers including Ray Kelly, who led the NYPD as its Commissioner during the transformative years after 9/11. On a lighter note, former NY Giants Running Backs Adhmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs also made appearances at the event.
The success of ISC East bodes well for its sister event, ISC West, which is scheduled for April 11th to 13th in Las Vegas.
