On Tuesday, Neurotechnology, provider of high-precision biometric identification solutions, announced the release of its new end-user time and attendance control system: NCheck Bio Attendance 2.0.
Adding face recognition capabilities to NCheck’s pre-existing fingerprint authentication capability, the Bio Attendance 2.0 allows a basic webcam or IP camera to track check-in and check-out times for employees in workplaces as diverse as concerts, clubs, clinics or other public or private facilities.
The NCheck Finger Attendance system is still a part of the new solution, receiving an upgrade to its existing databases, using Neurotechnology’s latest algorithms for user authentication. By leveraging its featured client-server architecture, the software can connect to multiple installations on a single system, and is backward compatible, able to be installed on Windows running devices, as well as kiosk systems based on PC hardware.
“Now NCheck is capable of serving more users across distributed locations. The addition of face recognition provides additional flexibility in how the software can be used,” said Viada Divalis, the NCheck project manager. With the ability to enroll not only fingerprint data, but also face biometrics, the Bio Attendance 2.0 adds a welcomed flexibility and ease to its ready to use software, operating on a fast operating NIST-MINEX-compliant fingerprint engine.
