Goodix is showcasing a slew of new IoT products at this week’s Apsara Conference in Hangzhou, China. The conference runs from September 25th to 27th at the International Convention and Exhibition Center in Cloud Town, where Goodix can be found at booth #C408.
The products on display are being pitched as part of a complete smart lifestyle, and will include smart earbuds, as well as smart locks and smart car dashboards that use biometric authentication to make adjustments for different users. The company is also showcasing a heart rate sensor designed for health and fitness wearables.
All of the technology is based on IoT technology that Goodix has been developing in anticipation of commercial 5G networks. Highlights include the company’s Bluetooth technology and its Low-Power Wide-Area Network, both of which are being demoed at Apsara. Goodix is also demonstrating its low-power consumption MCU, which has been featured in smart locks from Xiaomi.
Goodix has partnered with Xiaomi on several other products, and recently provided in-display fingerprint sensors for a pair of new Xiaomi phones. In other news, Goodix acquired NXP’s voice and audio business back in August.
Goodix will conclude the Apsara Conference with a forum and IoT product launch on September 27th.
