BioMech Health Grabs 2022 AI Breakthrough Award

BioMech Health is the recipient of a 2022 AI Breakthrough Award. The company was specifically recognized for its BioMech Lab health monitoring platform, which was named as the winner in the “Best Overall Biometric Solution” category.

The BioMech Lab is designed to improve the quality of patient care. To that end, the solution captures motion data using an array of sensors, and then analyzes that data to give healthcare providers the ability to create more effective treatment programs. The solution can be deployed in virtually any segment of the healthcare industry, from surgery all the way through to physical and cognitive therapies.

Clinicians can access the data gathered with BioMech Lab remotely on a mobile device, or through a web browser. In both cases, the cloud-based platform stores patient data in a manner that is compliant with the HIPAA data protection standard, giving doctors a secure and convenient way to track the progress of people in their care. BioMech Lab can determine when someone is moving as they normally would, and when something might be amiss and require further medical attention. The solution can capture data in real time, and can be used in a clinical or real-world setting.

The list of prior winners includes the regulatory compliance specialist Behavox, which won for “Best Use of AI for Voice Biometrics” in 2019 and “Best Overall AI Solution” in 2020. BioMech Health’s success speaks to the growing interest in effective remote patient monitoring solutions during the pandemic.
