In a virtual event to be held on October 14th, biometric technology company BioConnect will look to address the changing security climate as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event — titled ‘Managing Access in the New Normal: Solutions for the shifts brought on by COVID-19″ — begins at 10:00 a.m. (EST) and will consist of six separate breakout sessions covering a range of topics including “Leading Enterprise Security Safely, Simply & Reliably”, “Managing Access in Data Centers and Colocation Facilities”, and “Adding Biometrics to your Access Control System”.
BioConnect will also be sharing some information on its new product launches for the rest of 2020 and beyond, including new facial recognition devices, improvements to biometric registration software, BioConnect Enterprise, and more.
“Times are changing in the security industry due to the massive shifts brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. BioConnect has taken a proactive approach to helping offices, universities and enterprises create a safe return to work plan,” the company said in its announcement of the virtual event. “This virtual event was created to help get your operations back to normal as soon as possible.”
The company has enjoyed a strong 2020 thus far, with a July announcement that its BioConnect Link mobile authentication solution was awarded Best Emerging Technology at the 2020 ISC West New Product Showcase, followed by its selection by the Digital Technology Supercluster to help the Canadian economy recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Building off its recent momentum, BioConnect also announced this past week that it is partnering with Toronto-based innovation hub MaRS Discovery District to provide it with its Wellness Declaration Solution to help screen for COVID-19 in compliance with new safety standards set out by Ontario’s Ministry of Health.
You can find further information and register for the free event on BioConnect’s website.
