Having helped to lead the discussion around the convergence of physical and digital security at this year’s ISC West exhibition, BioConnect is looking to keep that conversation going with a forthcoming expert panel.
The event is slated for Thursday, September 19th, and will be held at 1 University Avenue in Toronto. And it will feature some leading experts in the area of enterprise security, including Duo Security Product Marketing Lead Amanda Rogerson, Genetec Business Development Manager Nada Ebeid, and DataBank CISO Mar Houpt. BioConnect’s own CISO and CTO, Courtney Gibson, will also be on the panel, while the company’s CEO, Rob Douglas, will host the event. Last but certainly not least, FindBiometrics’ VP of Digital Content, Susan Stover, will moderate the discussion.
As for who is expected to attend, BioConnect is inviting security professionals, IT administrators, CTOs, CISOs, and the like. Registration is free, and BioConnect is hoping to fuel some networking among industry professionals with complementary refreshments.
The event will arrive at an important time for BioConnect and Toronto’s own slice of the broader identity industry. FedDev Ontario, a federal innovation institution, has just announced up to $3.9 million in funding to support BioConnect’s ambitious expansion efforts, making BioConnect an even more high-profile leader in the identity space. That should help to attract some healthy interest in next week’s panel, which will also be livestreamed starting at 6pm EST on the 19th.
