BioConnect is launching a new BioConnect Cares initiative to help customers and partners get set up with contactless biometric security. The initiative will make the company’s current facial recognition products available for free, or at a steeply discounted price.
The offer will last until June 30th, and is being made in response to COVID-19. The company noted that the pandemic has created a growing demand for touchless access control solutions, which will help reduce the threat of a second outbreak when people do return to the office. BioConnect Cares will cover the BioConnect Link access management solution, and employees will be able to enroll in the new system while still at home.
“Now is the time to give back to our customers and partners,” said BioConnect Founder and CEO Rob Douglas. “BioConnect Cares is designed to help enterprises keep their facilities safe and secure with touchless options at no or significantly reduced cost over the next quarter.”
Invixium and iiDENTIFii have recently commented on the rising interest in contactless security solutions that are more sanitary than shared contact-based alternatives like fingerprint readers. For its part, BioConnect is offering a uniquely considerable discount, which should encourage more organizations to update their existing infrastructure.
BioConnect recently upgraded its Unified Mobile Access solution to make it compatible with technology from a wider range of access control manufacturers.
