BioConnect Announces Latest Authentication Platform Upgrade

BioConnect has launched the latest version of its flagship authentication platform for the enterprise, BioConnect ID.

The platform is designed to support a number of biometric modalities for authentication, including face, fingerprint, eye, voice, and behavioral biometrics. This is all ascertained from the end user via a mobile app, offering a high level of convenience given the ubiquity of smartphones and the rise of BYOD policies in the workplace. Leveraging mobile devices also allows the authentication system to operate on a cloud basis, with no need for the installation of specialized hardware on the part of an organization implementing the solution.

The platform’s integration into the enterprise, meanwhile, is facilitated via standards based on Google Authenticator, SAML, and Open API, as well as a forthcoming “Trust AI engine,” according to a statement from the company.
