“BioCatch delivers results across the identity ecosystem, from the account creation stage, to the login and beyond, providing a powerful layer of actionable intelligence and continuous authentication to protect against the most intractable identity challenges that our customers are facing today.” – Ben Goodman, VP, Global Strategy and Innovation, ForgeRock
BioCatch has found a new channel to the market, care of ForgeRock. The behavioral biometrics specialist has joined the ForgeRock Trust Network.
The latter is essentially a curated security solutions portfolio, with various third party offerings being highlighted by ForgeRock for end clients. Major names in the digital security business including FaceTec, HYPR, and Nok Nok Labs are involved in the platform, so BioCatch finds itself in good company.
In a statement announcing the integration of BioCatch’s eponymous platform into the ForgeRock Trust Network, ForgeRock Global Strategy and Innovation VP Ben Goodman said it “will make it easier for clients to adopt this cutting-edge behavioral biometrics capability into their Digital Identity and IoT projects,” adding that “BioCatch delivers results across the identity ecosystem, from the account creation stage, to the login and beyond, providing a powerful layer of actionable intelligence and continuous authentication to protect against the most intractable identity challenges that our customers are facing today.”
Those sentiments reflect the broader, growing enthusiasm over the kind of behavioral biometrics in which BioCatch specializes. The technology recently won the company a Florin Award at the European Payments Summit, in the category of “Best Innovation in Securing Transactions”; and it helped to bring the company a whopping $30 million in funding in its latest financing round.
Now, BioCatch’s integration into the ForgeRock platform will help to further raise its profile, with the company demonstrating its technology at this week’s ForgeRock Identity Live Conference in Austin, Texas.
