“Our partnership with BioCatch eliminates the complexity involved when implementing behavioral biometrics.” – Ben Goodman, Senior Vice President of Global Strategy and Innovation, ForgeRock
BioCatch‘s behavioral biometrics platform is now officially available through the ForgeRock Marketplace, the company has announced.
It’s a development that has been in the works for several months. During the Gartner Identity and Access Management Summit in early December, ForgeRock celebrated the growth of its platform, which offers a curated portfolio of identity solutions; and in so doing, ForgeRock highlighted new partners including Yoti, ImageWare, and BioCatch.
Now, with its technology live on the ForgeRock Marketplace, BioCatch joins a number of biometrics specialists gaining greater market access through the platform. For its part, BioCatch says its platform is designed to assess over 2,000 parameters related to end users’ behavioral patterns in order to determine potential fraud risk – a sophisticated approach to anti-fraud that doesn’t require special action from end users and thus helps to eliminate friction.
In a statement announcing the availability of BioCatch’s technology through the ForgeRock platform, ForgeRock Global Strategy and Innovation VP Ben Goodman explained the advantage that offering BioCatch through ForgeRock brings to end customers. “As behavioral biometrics becomes a must-have in the authentication suite, it requires integration into an orchestration and provisioning layer so that alerts are properly managed and streamlined into the organization’s overall workflow,” he said. “Our partnership with BioCatch eliminates the complexity involved when implementing behavioral biometrics.”
The development comes soon after last month’s news that BioCatch had been integrated into the Entersekt Secure Platform, further positioning BioCatch to benefit from broad market reach.
