BIO-key will once again be making the case for biometric security to investors. The company has announced that it will participate in the Maxim Group Emerging Growth Virtual Conference on Thursday, March 18.
The company will provide a pre-recorded presentation that will be posted on the event website, while CEO Mike DePasquale will participate in a roundtable discussion on the topic of “Security IT”. The panel will be hosted by Maxim Equity Analyst Allen Klee, and is slated to run from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Eastern.
It’s the latest opportunity that BIO-key has pursued to promote its post-password authentication technology to investors. BIO-key also participated in the LD Micro Virtual Main Event 2020 Investor Conference as well as the Imperial Capital Security Investor Conference in December.
For its part, Maxim Group’s Emerging Growth Virtual Conference will run from March 17 to 19 and will feature more than 200 participating companies.
BIO-key’s contributions will surely focus on the strong security of biometric authentication, with the company specializing in fingerprint scanning technology that has been deployed in highly-sensitive environments. But it will also likely spend some time on the other post-password security options supported by PortalGuard, a Single Sign-On platform that BIO-key acquired last year. BIO-key’s PortalGuard solution has seen a number of deployments in the months since, including in numerous post-secondary educational institutions.
